lipstick & laundromats - submissions deadline in 2 weeks

Hello Mystics!

With two weeks to go until the next deadline, here are some things we’re thinking about.

1. LIPSTICK & LAUNDROMATS submissions - Monday 5/12

LIPSTICK AND LAUNDROMAT SUBMISSIONS are due Monday 5/12, two weeks. Send em here: bit.ly/iammystic. Advice questions are due next Monday, 5/5! Send those to [email protected]. 

2. give us your: laundry confessions

We are trying some new things this go-round. First of all, we wanted to do a sort of crowd-sourced post of weird things people do in the laundry. It’s a private place! Kind of like the bathroom, you’re generally either alone or surrounded by complete strangers. 

A plain-ish idea, we weren’t sure if it would catch on or be worth reading. But a weird thing happened: several people told us they would prefer to give their hottest laundry takes…anonymously. And….okay? Sure! Intriguing! And a little baffling? I feel very unimaginative but I genuinely have no idea what’s going to come in? But yes ok please air your dirtiest laundry, anonymously, and we’ll print it until MA’s obscenity laws force us to burn all remaining copies.

3. bequeath to us your: lipstick prints 💋 

A much simpler ask: if you feel so inclined, send us a print of fresh lipstick on a napkin - piece of paper - whatever. Submissions can go to the intake form, as a response to this email, whatever you like.
